General features
- The shoe has a wide top opening.
- An anatomically shaped toe box prevents pressure on the dorsum of the foot, even when using soft-bedding arch support.
- The higher heel area prevents the foot from slipping out of the shoe, even when the patient is wearing thicker arch supports.
- Padding in the tongue and collar area reduces the danger of ulceration at the back of the foot and around the ankle.
- The heel is held safely in a heel cup which is extended anteriorly along the sides of the shoe.
- There are no seams in the textile lining of the sensitive forefoot region, and there is also no toe box stiffener.
- A reinforced sole unit supports static and dynamic loads.
- The non-slip profile of the soles, make standing and walking safe.
- The sole unit is suitable for further modification.
- Only the highest quality, calf leathers and buckskins are used in the shoe.
- The shoes are lined with padded Alcantara.
- The shoe base consists of an EVA throughsole with an air chamber system in the heel.
